On Sunday 16th July, after some well-deserved rest, the extravaganza caravane rejoined at the Fiorucci Art Trust venue in Via Natoli, to celebrate the last chapter of I Polpi. This special place holds countless memories, to which for the occasion we certainly added new ones.

Two site-specific wall drawing interventions by Eddie Peake, Fruit (running along the internal surfaces of the house, from the courtyard to the salons and the terraces) and Shadows (unfolding along the wall facing the path leading to the volcano), were officially unveiled.

Surrounded by Peake’s microcosm of neon rainbow graffiti, which included the leaning tentacles of a giant octopus and fragments of writing, and feeling grateful for such an amazing journey, we waved farewell to the seventh edition of Volcano Extravaganza.
