As we kept enjoying the long, calm days of the end of July, as well as the dark, warm and deep blue sea of the island, we went for a swim and then joined the collective afternoon listening session of Lydia Ourahmane’s underwater intervention guided by the artist herself.

We let the last rays of sun dry us up and then we reached Casa Falk, kindly opened to the public by its owner Martin Hatebur, as the sun made its way below the horizon.

Our artists took over the house. Cecilia Bengolea welcomed us with the Insect Train Performance, performed with Erika Miyauchi on the rocks of the hill of Casa Falk, co-presented with The Store X Vinyl Factory. Osman Yousefzada presented his new Capsule Collection and Haroon Mirza accompanied the fashion show with especially created sounds. All the while, Alex Cecchetti was quenching guests with sensual poetry along with amorous and erotic cocktails from his Love Bar.

After recharging our batteries, we made our way to MEGA Club at midnight (which, apart from being our favourite dancefloor, has also been a venue for our volcanic interventions, when it hosted the performance Dying on Stage by Christodoulos Panayiotou on 2015). At MEGA the hertz set the floor on fire with The Store X Vinyl Factory co-presented ISLAND LIDE – A DANCEHALL PARTY. The night featured a performance by Cecilia Bengolea and Erika Miyauchi (Paris) with special guest Craig Williams (Jamaica) from the Black Eagle Crew who danced to the tunes played by The Heatwave Djs. The night continued until dawn.
