The performance Borrowed Splendour was presented by Zhana Ivanova together with special guests. The artist has been awarded with the Fiorucci Art Trust Fellowship 2013, The Fellowship supports 1 year residency programme at Rijksakademie, providing an emerging artist with the financial support to develop their talent and gain exposure at an international level.

Zhana Ivanova (Russe, Bulgaria) produces works in the field of performance and time-based arts. The patterns and systems to which we accustom within daily experience are of central interest. She attempts forms, which are inherent to the subjects in question. Her constructions are initially formal and rule-governed, yet within those she insistently exposes the ambiguity of her own rules. She is currently an artist in residence at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten.
